BSX-MMVIII(2008) : A message from Ray and Alex
Some people might say that you should wait to launch a convention based on your webcomic until there is some kind of demand for such an event. That you should think of some things to do at your convention once you decide to have it anyway. That renting a room at a pizza parlor does not actually constitute a convention. Those people are right. BUT THEY ARE ALSO WRONG. WELCOME TO BUTTERSAFE EXPO 2008.

Buttersafe Expo (BSX) was founded upon the firm belief that people like pizza. We take this belief very seriously. That is why, at this convention, we will eat four pizzas. "But wait," you might be saying. "I don't, in actuality, like pizza." Don't worry! Buttersafe Expo is for everyone. You can come and not eat four pizzas and everyone will respect you for your choices.

What to expect at BSX-MMVIII:
- Table
- Chairs
- Pizza
- Extra chairs

Nothing else is guaranteed.

When is a door not a door? When it's ajar. When is a convention not your ordinary convention? When it's BUTTERSAFE EXPO 2008.

Saturday, April 26th - Thanks to everyone that made it out to BSX Pinole today. It was extraordinarily awesome. We were not expecting to need 6 pizzas, but it was an extremely pleasant surprise and we were happy to share with such an upstanding group of people.

Saturday, April 19th - Because of the geographically-dispersed nature of the world's internet users and pizza appreciators, we've received quite a few suggestions that we hold additional BSXes elsewhere, as well as offers from kind individuals to take up the torch of pizza-eating in their respective locales. We at Buttersafe don't feel we currently have the resources to spearhead the organization of multiple expos, which is why we're happy to launch the Buttersafe Expo Forum!
